The Town of Meeker, Oklahoma, is officially applying for the TSET Built Environment Grants. One application is being prepared for the planning grant to evaluate the feasibility of a sidewalk down H18 from H62, and one is being prepared for the construction-ready grant to begin rebuilding the front side of Meeker Lake.
Established by voters, the Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) is a state grantmaking trust devoted to preventing cancer and cardiovascular disease, Oklahoma's leading causes of death. By awarding grants to communities, TSET works to improve the health of Oklahoma's citizens. TSET initiatives address Oklahoma's most pressing public health issues and create healthier places for all Oklahomans to live, work, learn, and play. The Town of Meeker has been supporting TSET initiatives since 2020.
The Meeker Industrial Authority on behalf of the Town of Meeker, Oklahoma, is officially applying for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Planning and Development FY24 Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) FR-6800-N-98 grant.
